Faculty at CSU East Bay are leading the way in improving STEM teaching for today’s teachers and faculty - and those of tomorrow. We focus on design and implementation of programs that improve teacher proficiency in STEM education for the benefit of all students, at all grade levels.
Our priority is increasing access to STEM education and career awareness for students of all levels and backgrounds, regionally and statewide.
We are developing new ways to connect employers with the talent they need and bringing their resources into education to create a stronger workforce. Our engagement of employers, community leaders, and other essential partners in sustained networks focus on equipping students with the tools they need to achieve gratifying careers in a range of disciplines.
The Institute for STEM Education was founded at California State University East Bay in 2011 to serve as a backbone organization for regional STEM education efforts, from cradle to career.
