What we offer
STEM-rich programs for east bay circle labs neighborhoods
The Institute for STEM Education at Cal State East Bay is bringing real-life STEM education into underserved neighborhoods after school and on Saturdays. Most programs are for six weeks and include opportunities to meet STEM professionals from companies throughout the East Bay.
We're proud to present these innovative fall programs.

Preparing K-12 classroom teachers to teach the newly implemented Next Generation Science Standards .

Math is fun! K-5 students build fundamental math skills and learn that math can be fun and educational by playing games.

City officials discuss how local policy connects to STEM in surprising ways. Discover how STEM impacts your community.

Students learn about water conservation and the value of water for all living creatures.

Local STEM professionals share their career paths and help students explore the possible STEM career options for them. Including hands-on activities and virtual site tours.

Community Resources for Science bring hands-on demonstrations to you! With Mysterious Liquids, Glow in the Dark Science, and more!

What happens after high school? Explore internship opportunities, STEM career paths, financial aid options, applying for college and so much more!

In partnership with Google, middle school students develop games on their very own Raspberry Pi.
